The sun is starting to set a little bit sooner, the temperatures are starting to drop, and that means our favorite time of year is almost here...sweater weather! And what's sweater weather without a new sweater to show off? Allow me to introduce you to the newest addition to the LuLaRoe lineup, the LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater!
The all-new LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater is made of 100% acrylic and features a classic pullover knit sweater style. The LuLaRoe Harper also features adorable cuffing on all of the edges including the hem, sleeves, and collar. Plus, the LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater is just gosh dang adorable!
Now let's take some time to talk about the LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a 2X and 3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater size chart, I should be a 2X or 3X.
It's almost impossible to abstain from comparing the LuLaRoe Harper to last year's LuLaRoe Mariah, so if you're new here, make sure to check out my sizing article on the Mariah as well.
I personally find the LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater to be much more generous in sizing than the original LuLaRoe Mariah sweater. The body is roomier, the sleeves are longer, and the cuffs are thicker.
Pictured here, you can see me in a 3X LuLaRoe Harper which is technically one size up, and I absolutely love the fit.
In my sizing video below, you'll see me try on an XL and 2X as well.
Ultimately, after trying on multiple sizes of the LuLaRoe Harper knit sweater, I find sizing to be true to size for the most part, with the ability to size up for a roomier, cozy-sweater feel. Sizing down makes it QUITE fitted, but not ugly. Feel free to drop your opinions on my YouTube sizing video!
