As someone with a pretty prominent extra chin, I usually shy away from turtle neck styles. But the all-new LuLaRoe Elsa boxy turtle neck has me singing a completely different tune. I absolutely love this style! Let's take a closer look at this fabulous new addition to the LuLaRoe lineup.
Made of a brushed hacci sweater material, the LuLaRoe Elsa boxy turtle neck features a super generous cut, fitted sleeves, and an adorable turtle neckline for a fabulous silhouette. This style is the epitome of fashionability and comfort. The LuLaRoe Elsa is also great for all body types and I am so excited for its release.
Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Elsa boxy turtle neck sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Elsa size chart, I should be an XL.
Typically when styles feature a larger, more oversized fit, we only see four sizes crafted for the style like we see with the LuLaRoe Elsa.
Although I can most certainly put on a Large in the LuLaRoe Elsa boxy turtle neck, I definitely prefer my true to size fit in the XL.
If you like your turtle neck tops to be extremely fitted, you may enjoy sizing down one size in the LuLaRoe Elsa; but for me, I think sticking to the LuLaRoe Elsa size chart provides the best and most comfortable fit.
