Dresses are one of my all-time favorite clothing styles. I love how easy they are to wear and style, and I love that everyone instantly thinks you've "dressed up," even though they're the easiest garment to wear (usually). That's why I am so excited about the release of the all-new Roselyn flutter sleeve dress from LuLaRoe, it's the perfect dress for spring!
The LuLaRoe Roselyn dress features smocked details at the shoulders, roomy flutter sleeves, a generoulsy-cut body, and nice, deep pockets. You can wear the LuLaRoe Roselyn on its own, or throw on a belt to add a little more shape.
Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Roselyn flutter sleeve dress sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Roselyn size chart, I should in-between an XL & 2X.
I consider my current "true to size" in most LuLaRoe clothing to be a 2X, and I find that the LuLaRoe Roselyn flutter sleeve dress is no exception.
Sizing down into the XL Roselyn made the pockets stick out at weird angles, and sizing up into the 3X Roselyn was far too roomy for me to wear feasibly.
Ultimately, I think most ladies are going to want to stick to the size chart for best sizing for the LuLaRoe Roselyn. Women who are not hippy/curvy may be able to size down one size for a more fitted fit, but that was not possible for my apple body shape.
