I don't know about y'all, but here in Arkansas, winter came in with a swiftness this year! Which is why I am so excited to announce the release of the all-new LuLaRoe Alex pullover hoodie!!
If you have shopped LuLaRoe in the past, you may already be familiar with the LuLaRoe Amber hoodie top that released several years ago; I'm here to tell you the LuLaRoe Alex is NOT a new Amber, but rather an epic piece in its own right!
The all-new LuLaRoe Alex pullover hoodie features a mostly cotton blend, with a cottony feel on the outside and a fleecy feel on the inside. The LuLaRoe Alex hoodie also features a classic kangaroo pouch pocket as well as a thick, drawstring hoodie. Everything about the LuLaRoe Alex screams classic hoodie styling, and I am here for it!
Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Alex pullover hoodie sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Alex size chart, I should land between XL & 2X.
This is the first time in LuLaRoe history that a style has come in 4X, which is awesome! I am so thrilled that customers of all sizes will get to play with the fit on this particular style.
Although the size chart says I could--in theory--do an XL, I definitely found that the 2X in the LuLaRoe Alex pullover hoodie was the perfect fit for me. Not too snug, not too oversized, just right.
In my sizing video below, you'll also see me try on the 3X and 4X in the LuLaRoe Alex pullover hoodie -- both of which I liked the fit, as an oversized hoodie.
Ultimately I think most ladies will be able to wear their true to size in the LuLaRoe Alex; however, I also think most ladies will like at least one size up in order to attain a more oversized-hoodie fit.
