Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Isla cross back dress sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Isla size chart, I should in-between an XL & 2X.
At my current size, I run in-between sizes a lot.
In the LuLaRoe Isla, I definitely prefer my smaller size of XL. Trying on the 2X LuLaRoe Isla, I found the bigger size was too long and too roomy in the top.
However, I must note that I am an apple shape and carry all of my weight in the middle.
It's possible that those with more ample bottom halves will prefer true to size in this dress.
As for me, I prefer my "size down" size.
