The first of its kind, the brand new Resort Collection from LuLaRoe has just launched--right in time for spring and summer! Hang ten with me as we take a closer look at two of the styles from this beachy ensemble, the fabulous LuLaRoe Coastal Cover Up and the flowy LuLaRoe Endless Maxi Dress.
The LuLaRoe Coastal cover up is totally my JAM! Nice roomy fit, breathable material, pockets, and adorable fringe detail--what's not to love? You can wear the LuLaRoe Coastal Cover Up on its own, or you can throw on a pair of shorts underneath to complete the look.
Flirty and fabulous, the LuLaRoe Endless Maxi Dress is the perfect piece to throw over your swimsuit on your way to the beach or the pool. The LuLaRoe Endless features a nice roomy cut, adjustable straps, and a lightweight polyester material to keep you feeling breezy and beautiful all day long!
Now let's take some time to talk about sizing for both the LuLaRoe Coastal AND the LuLaRoe Endless, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to both the LuLaRoe Coastal size chart and the LuLaRoe Endless size Chart, I should in-between an XL & 2X.
Although both the Coastal and Endless materials have zero stretch, it seems like the cut for these styles has been adjusted to accommodate.
In the LuLaRoe Coastal cover up, I can easily wear both my true to size and one size down. Sizing down did make the arms a bit more snug, but I was otherwise completely comfortable. (Pictured here wearing XL.)
Trying on the LuLaRoe Endless maxi dress, I found that my true to size did not work for me as it gapped around my chest.
Sizing down into XL fit me much better, although it was slightly snug across my back.
Ultimately, I think most ladies will prefer to size down one from the size chart in these styles, with true to size also being a good option, especially in the Coastal.
