If you know me, you know I'm a dress girl. I love the feeling of wearing a cute dress for the first time and getting lots of compliments, when in actuality I all I did was slip on a single piece--truly effortless. The LuLaRoe Skyler midi dress is made of a poly-span knit gauze blend that is ultra light-weight and perfect for those warmer spring and summer temperatures! The details on the Skyler dress are also UNMATCHED: nice deep pockets, an elastic waistband that keeps a flattering shape every time, super cute puffy sleeves, functional buttons, and more. A masterpiece!
Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Skyler midi dress sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Skyler size chart, I should be a 2X.
Like I told y'all, I freaking love dresses so I could not wait to order this gorgeous style for my shop! And truthfully, the LuLaRoe Skyler is as amazing as I thought she was.
Pictured here I am wearing a 2X LuLaRoe Skyler and I think it fits great. I would not size down in this dress for fear of gaping at the chest. Sizing up into a 3X LuLaRoe Skyler, I found the dress gave me more length and a bit more room in the body and sleeves. I also did not think it looked too oversized.
Ultimately I think the LuLaRoe Skyler size chart is accurate and most ladies will prefer their true to size; however, if you're in-between sizes or would just like a little more length & room in your dress, sizing up is also an option, in my opinion.
